Heat insulating flange which is meant to be installed between intake manifold and cylinder head. Meant to keep heat away from the intake manifold, intake runners, etc. Can be used with two normal intake gaskets as a sandwhich. Or machine O-ring grooves to the nailon for O-rings. Specially meant for motorsport or boosted applications.
