Description Calpol Infant Oral Suspension provides soothing relief from pain and fever, post-immunisation fever, cold & flu symptoms, teething, headache, sore throat, earache and aches & pains. Calpol Infant Suspension is suitable for babies and children aged from 2 months to 6 years weighing more than 4kg and not premature. It starts to work on fever in just 15 minutes but is still gentle on delicate tummies. Includes syringe for precise measuring. Plesant Strawberry flavour. DIRECTIONS: 2-3 months: 2.5ml – if necessary, after 4-6 hours, give a second 2.5ml dose Can be given to babies 2-3 months with post-vaccination fever. Do not give more than 2 doses Leave at least 4 hours between doses If further doses are needed, talk to your doctor or pharmacist 3-6 months: 2.5ml – 4 times in 24 hours 6-24 months: 5ml – 4 times in 24 hours 2-4 years: 7.5ml (5ml 2.5ml) – 4 times in 24 hours 4-6 years: 10ml (5ml 5ml) – 4 times in 24 hours Do not give more than 4 doses in any 24 hour period Leave at least 4 hours between doses Do not give this medicine to your child for more than 3 days without speaking to your doctor or pharmacist IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT CALPOL Contains Paracetamol: Do not give with any other paracetamol-containing products. Immediate medical advice should be sought in the event of an overdose, even if the child seems well. Please read the enclosed leaflet carefully. Do not exceed the stated dose. Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Please consult your doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or if or your child are taking any other prescription medications, regular medicines or receiving regular treatment.
